Hands-on
AI training for
the work ahead.
AI just made a leap that most people missed. It can do real work now—not just answer questions. We'll show you what's possible and help you build systems for your job.
The next public training session is 2/26/26.
Testimonials from our AI Training Sessions

What do you actually do in the training?
You'll see what's possible—then build it. Every training starts with your goals and ends with working systems you can use the next day. Hands-on, the whole time.
Build a foundation & learn to delegate tasks
You'll learn Claude Code—a tool that turns AI from something you chat with into something that does work for you. You'll see what it can actually do: handle multi-step tasks, figure out the approach when you give it a goal, work autonomously while you do something else. Then you'll learn how to work with it effectively—not prompting, but delegating. You're at the keyboard the whole time, hands-on, learning the tool and the technique together.
Set your goals, plan your systems
Two questions drive everything: What should AI be able to answer? What should AI be able to complete? Most people stop at answering. We go further. You'll identify the tasks you spend hours on every week—the ones worth handing off. Then you map those to specific systems. Not abstract use cases. Real workflows for your actual job.

Build and iterate on your systems
This is where it gets fun. You'll build systems that don't just research—they DO. Teach Claude Code how to onboard a new employee and notify you when it's done. Pull data from three systems, synthesize it, and draft the report. Run a multi-step process while you take a call. These aren't chatbots that answer questions—they're systems that complete tasks. You'll create commands, specialists, connections to your tools. By the end of the day, you'll have systems doing actual work—tested on real tasks, ready to use tomorrow.
Get support in training and after
You're not on your own—during training or after. We're right there as you build, helping you get unstuck, answering questions, working through the technical stuff together. That support continues for 13 weeks: weekly office hours and an active Slack community of people who've been through the training and keep building.
"The training is an investment in your future that will pay immediate dividends, and those dividends will pay dividends. It is SO worth the investment! Do not wait to sign up!"

Learn to delegate work to AI—not just ask it questions. Full-day, hands-on training means you leave with working systems, not just notes. Individual seats to test the waters, or company training for your whole team.
1 seat at a public group training
A smart choice for organizations who want to send one or two employees first—see the results, then book the company training.
This is a full-day training from 8:30am - 4:00pm. The next training session is 2/26/2026. We will open another training in February.
On-site training for your organization
This works best for teams ready to update the way they work - not just add another tool.
We recommend 10 or fewer participants per day so everyone gets hands-on attention.
Meet Caravan
In 2025, Austin and Robert interviewed 20+ local executives to learn about their practical AI implementations. Most companies had not advanced past using ChatGPT.
Caravan was created from those twenty interviews.

In addition to working on Caravan and leading AI training sessions, Austin is a co-founder and Director of Birmingham AI.

Robert still insists on developing some website elements by hand and wrote this sentence. If you're reading this, thanks for visiting the website!
FAQs
If you have questions that aren't covered here, email us (just don't spam us, please.)
Bring 2-3 specific challenges from your work. Good examples include a monthly report that takes hours to compile, a research project you keep putting off, a process that involves lots of copy-paste, or a presentation you need to create. Come ready to work on real tasks.
If you're curious about how your business can adapt to this wild time of intelligence acceleration, you're probably a good fit. We can work with most levels of technical ability. Just email us if you have questions. We're here to help in any way we can.
This is a hands-on workshop. You'll spend most of the day working on real problems with guidance, not sitting through presentations. You'll be encouraged to bring problems from your organization that you can use to make your experience more personal. We'll alternate between introducing new capabilities and applying them to your actual work, so you leave with solutions, not just concepts.
Your team will gather around a large computer screen and follow along what the trainer is doing. It's a bit like gathering around a camp fire, but in this case, the fire is a computer screen! When questions come up, we'll talk through them as a group. There is a training assistant that helps individual members of your team if they're having tech issues.
Yes. Technical people will learn how to prototype AI solutions, integrate Claude into existing systems, and evaluate AI capabilities for their organization. However, this isn't a deep-dive on developer tools, model architecture, or building production AI applications.
While ChatGPT is broadly more popular, Claude and Claude Code is currently winning in enterprises. Claude Code is catching fire with early adopters. Our intuition tells us Claude Code is the next wave of AI that creates a step change in productivity.
Your tuition includes a full-day of hands-on training, lunch included. You'll get access to course materials and weekly office hours for the following 13 weeks.
Free resources teach you what's possible. This training ensures you can actually do it. You'll work on your real problems with expert guidance, leave with working solutions, and have 90 days of support while you implement. Most importantly, you'll compress months of trial-and-error into a single day.
Yes, a paid Claude subscription is required. The $20/month account is sufficient for the training.
The office hours are an hour-long video call where past participants can work with Austin and Robert and their peers to get their questions solved. Given the rapidly changing capabilities of these tools, this will also be an opportunity to share any updates. You'll receive a calendar invite with the Zoom link after registration.
Refunds are not available. If you can't attend, we'll issue a credit valid for 12 months toward any future training. You may transfer your registration to a colleague up to 48 hours before the training.
Starting in June 2023, Austin has been on stage every month communicating practical, accessible AI knowledge to the Birmingham community.
